Weapons Intelligence Tracking System
Real-time ballistics analysis

Our Weapons Intelligence Tracking System includes devices that can operate independently or communicate together seamlessly to provide secure monitoring for Law Enforcement, Military or Security personnel. System benefits include:

  • Detect when a weapon has been drawn and discharged
  • Report the number of rounds fired and the trajectory of each bullet
  • Intelligent interface detects whether shots are outbound or inbound.
  • Detect whether hostile fire is in close proximity.
  • Sense traumatic bullet impact to an officer's personal body armour (Vest)

This information is transmitted instantly by GPRS (with emergency fallback to SMS) over the GSM cellular network to our 3ARC tracking system at a central monitoring centre for immediate response, reports and analysis. Fixes are then updated at optimised intervals to provide a graphical map trace and logged history of the device location, on the 3ARC web servers (with secure back-up). Individual fix intervals, report selections and incident procedures can be managed via a standard web browser.

Gunfire Tracker

This provides automatic GPS tracking (position, time and ballistic events) in a device that clips directly onto any firearm universal rail system. The rugged and waterproof casing has built-in antennas and batteries.

It can be monitored remotely in "real-time" to analyse when the weapon was first deployed, how many rounds were fired, nearby hostile fire, the trajectory of inbound/outbound bullets and other ballistic details.

This information enables a central monitoring unit to assess a live situation immediately. Post-event, this information can help forensics build a better and more accurate picture of what happened.

With a power-saving motion sensor and accurate GPS, the Gunfire Tracker can help locate a missing firearm ...and will trigger an immediate alert if it leaves the pre-set proximity of a 3ARC BulletVest with which it has been synchronised. Configuration options can be set up via a PC or over-the-air.

Features:

  • The most sensitive Sirf III GPS chipset and integral real-time clock.
  • Worldwide GSM support on 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
  • 6000 reports can be saved if the device cannot communicate to a server.
  • Encrypted data reports, for maximum security
    • Weapon draw reports
    • Warning shots reports
    • Weapon firing reports
    • Tamper switch trigger reports
    • 5 user-defined Geofences (safety zones) to trigger location reports
    • Low battery warning reports
  • The built-in 3.6V 1600 mAH lithium battery gives 12 hours of operation.
  • Low power consumption, plus a 3D acceleration sensor (with selectable angle sensitivity) to switch between "sleep", "power-saving" or "normal" modes and to trigger motion reports.
  • A 110/220 AC mains adaptor/charger is supplied.

BulletVest Tracker

This provides automatic GPS tracking (position, time and velocity) and can be built into a bulletproof vest to report impact events immediately, for rapid response.

It can be monitored remotely in "real-time" and if the wearer is shot, an immediate report is sent giving detail on the point of impact and trajectory of a bullet entering the vest. This can help monitoring staff to analyse the nature of any assailants and ensure the correct type of response, to help save the wearer with minimal delay.

Versions are available for stand-alone use, or with a radio link to our Gunfire tracker for synchronised GPS/GSM communication.

A self-test button can initiate an automatic routine prior to entering service and can also be used as a Panic Button to summon help in an emergency. For example, if a wearer needs to "play dead" but has not been shot (which would normally summon help automatically). Configuration options can be set up via a PC or over-the-air and the detailed reports can aid forensic analysis

Features:

  • The most sensitive Sirf III GPS chipset and integral real-time clock.
  • Worldwide GSM support on 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
  • Panic button and self-test option.
  • 3000 reports can be saved if the device cannot communicate to a server.
  • Encrypted data reports, for maximum security
    • Ballistic sensor "shot" reports
    • Panic button SOS reports
    • Vest motion reports
    • 4 user-defined Geofences (safety zones) to trigger location reports
    • Tamper switch trigger reports
    • Low battery warning reports
  • The built-in 3.6V 1600 mAH lithium battery gives 12 hours of operation.
  • Low power consumption, plus a 3D acceleration sensor (with selectable angle sensitivity) to switch between "sleep", "power-saving" or "normal" modes and to trigger motion reports.
  • A 110/220 AC mains adaptor/charger is supplied.
